Care Beyond Our Walls invites you to be part of a meaningful and rewarding 5-day medical and surgical mission in Zamboanga, Philippines, from Jan 30-Feb 3, 2026, where your expertise can make a profound difference in the lives of underserved communities. The city of Zamboanga is a safe and peaceful city in the southern region of the Philippines where access to healthcare is limited and the need is great.
Care Beyond Our Walls (CBOW) was originally a KP-TPMG initiative focusing on inclusive care respectful of and sensitive to the unique values, ideals, traditions, and languages of the many cultures currently represented in the KP member population. Today CBOW is a non-profit organization formed by a group of retired TPMG physicians with a mission to provide culturally sensitive healthcare to underserved communities in the US and abroad.
This mission is an opportunity to share your skills, provide life-changing care, and reconnect with the joy of service alongside fellow TPMG physicians and surgeons. We will be offering free medical consultations, surgeries, and treatments to those in need, ensuring that even the most vulnerable receive quality healthcare.
We will be serving many patients over five days and have an acute need for surgeons (for major and minor surgeries), OB-GYN specialists, urologists, plastic surgeons (for cleft lip/palate repairs), anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and adult primary care.

After the mission, we invite you to embark on a 3-day adventure to explore the breathtaking beauty of Santa Cruz Island and Tawi-Tawi. Enjoy pristine pink sand beaches, vibrant marine life, local Zamboanga cuisine, and rich cultural experiences as we unwind and celebrate our shared mission.
